San Diego is a beautiful city. That fact was shown to me a couple of years ago when I decided to visit and to spend more than 3 months here. During that time I realized that I have no idea of what I can see from the places I could go to, and it was really surprising that in this city you can find a lot of tourist attractions you could hardly visit in other big European cities like London or Rome.
To start, you can find the heart of San Diego – a huge and beautiful city park. This is Torrey Pines State Reserve, located in La Jolla. And the park is basically a full of incredible views over the Pacific Ocean. If you go up there and look to the north, you can’t help but to feel the serenity of those endless places.
But it’s not only the Torrey Pines State Reserve where you can find a lot of beauty in San Diego. The city has a lot of parks, like Balboa Park, La Jolla Shores and Mission Bay, and each of these places has its specific charm.
Also, San Diego has a fantastic zoo, which represents the city like no other. So, if you’re a family, you should definitely consider visiting the San Diego Zoo, the Ocean Institute and San Diego Zoo Safari Park. The last is located in Escondido.
If you are a student, you should visit the San Diego International Airport, where you can find the campus of San Diego State University, which represents one of the biggest university in the country. Furthermore, San Diego has a huge number of art galleries.
The last but not least, if you’re a businessperson, you should visit the San Diego Convention Center, where the biggest event of the year is held – the World Science Fiction Convention. And last, if you enjoy a beer and visit San Diego for business, you should definitely check out the Old Town Brewery.
The only way to discover San Diego is to walk around the city. And what’s even more important, to do it without a map. Because in San Diego you can find a lot of secrets and you can’t imagine how much beauty it has inside.
